Effective 31 August 2026. These terms cover the Escape the Rain iPhone app and this website, operated by Isotach Labs ("we"). Using the app means you accept them.
Escape the Rain provides weather-based trip suggestions built from third-party forecasts. Forecasts are predictions: they are sometimes wrong, and we do not guarantee that any place we suggest will be dry, reachable, or open. The app is not a safety service. Do not rely on it for decisions involving severe weather, flooding, or road conditions — use official warnings and your own judgment, and never interact with the app while driving.
Optional paid features are sold through Apple as auto-renewing subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple account; subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and are managed or cancelled in your device's Settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms.
Lodging and activity links open third-party sites (for example Airbnb, Booking.com, or Google) that we do not operate and are not responsible for. Some links may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission on bookings at no extra cost to you.
Don't abuse the service — no scraping the API, circumventing rate limits or usage metering, or reselling the data. Forecast data shown in the app is subject to its providers' own terms and attribution requirements.
This is a small, independent product. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the app or any feature at any time. If the service is retired, the app will say so plainly rather than silently failing.
The app and website are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Isotach Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
